A cordless mulching lawnmower with variable speed drive
The RMA 2 RV is a replacement for the RMA 2 RT but with welcomed improvements. It is a cordless mulching mower with a 46 cm/18 inch working width ideally suited to medium lawns, with variable speed drive for comfortable operation. Powered by STIHL’s AP battery series, the recommended AP 300 battery provides up to 510 m2 coverage per full charge.
Professional performance day after day
Weighing in at just 23 kg, and with variable speed drive 2 – 4.5 km/h that’s adjusted via the handlebar, the mower is easy to manoeuvre especially over larger areas and gentle gradients. The cutting height can be altered to 25 – 85 mm by adjusting the front and rear axles separately to suit the terrain and time of year, for excellent performance always. An optional eco mode maximises the life of the battery by automatically adapting the required power to the speed of operation.
Effortless to use, manoeuvre, and store
The RMA 2 RV makes use of the latest mulching technology, where a specially shaped blade finely shreds grass cuttings and distributes them across the lawn, providing it with moisture and vital nutrients. Mulching means there is no cleanup, and the lack of a collector bag makes it lighter and subsequently easier to manoeuvre. A comfortable soft-grip handlebar reduces fatigue whilst working, and also quickly folds down for compact storage. The handlebar and two integrated carry handles facilitate easy movement from one job to the next.
Built to last for years to come
The impact-resistant housing made of sheet steel and a special frame are particularly robust and made for heavy-duty applications. The easy-running wheels with a traction pattern and a directional stability tread pattern are extremely hard-wearing and hold the line during mowing for the neatest performance.
A battery and charger are not included
This listing is for the shell only and doesn’t include any battery or charger, which is ideal for those who already have a compatible battery and a charger from their fleet of machines, or gives the freedom to choose the combination of accessories to suit user requirements. However, STIHL recommend the AP 300 battery and the AL 301 battery charger.
A 2 year professional warranty with STIHL is included, we will register the machine. T&Cs apply.
