About the STIHL AL 301 Quick Battery Charger
A STIHL fast charging battery charger suitable for AK and AP system batteries.
A fast STIHL AL301 charger compatible for use on AP and AK system batteries with a 6.5 A charging current and battery cooling thanks to the built-in fan.
Once the battery is fully charged the AL 301 automatically switches off the charge to prevent any overheating.
The AL301 charger works to a 2-stage charging process. In the first stage; the battery is charged at a constant current, the second stage consists of the battery being charged at a constant voltage and the initial current is then reduced until the battery is fully charged.
The AL301 also features a cable tie and velcro-straps to store the cable whilst the battery is being charged.

What can I say, it charges. Bought 2 AP200s, and this for the days / weekends when I have a lost of hedge cutting and trimming to do. Could have got away with the lower speed charger, but nice to have the comfort of the speed capacity.
Garden Machinery gave an excellent service, in addition to being very competitive on price.
The Ap200 battery provides sufficient operational duration for the amount I would like to do between shifts.
