Specifically designed for STIHL's new generation of hedge trimmers, the 2-MIX engine combines low fuel consumption and emissions with a light weight and superb acceleration. With enough power reserves to cut through thick shrubs, you can rest assured that you have the muscle to deal with tough tasks in your garden.

Easy to start & operate

An electronic ignition module ensures reliable starting and trouble-free running. As it is fully encapsulated, it is protected from damp and dirt. A manual fuel pump also means you can deliver fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button, reducing the number of starting pulls required after extended breaks in operation. With an anti-vibration system on board, the oscillations from the engine are dampened to significantly reduce the vibrations at the handles.

Durable, intelligent design

The double-sided cutting blade is ground on one side, with the special blade geometry ensuring high cutting performance. A long-life air filter system is also in place, with longer cleaning intervals meaning less work for you and providing better protection of the engine.
