The FS 240 C-E has been updated for 2022
Although not too much has changed, the differences make for more comfortable use; the sound power level is slightly reduced 111 dB(A) to 110 dB(A), the vibration level is reduced 5.2/4.9 m/s2 to 4.7/4.0 m/s2, and a new ignition model improves durability.
STIHL’s most powerful brushcutter for professional work
The FS 240 C-E is still STIHL’s most powerful brushcutter available for landscaping and agricultural work; it is DLG certified and is awarded the KWF Standard quality mark to show that it is suitable for the outside forestry environment. The bike handles lend to covering large areas quickly, as the brushcutter can be easily guided.
Fitted with a powerful and capable 2-MIX engine
The STIHL 2-MIX petrol engine is both powerful and fuel efficient. It increases power output whilst reducing compression by separating exhaust emissions from the unburnt gas to minimise flushing losses; it also contributes to the brushcutters low weight (dry weight 7.1 kg). The large 0.75 Litre fuel tank ensures longer working intervals, and when refueling is required it is easy to do.
Featuring STIHL’s smooth ErgoStart technology
With easy-starting ErgoStart, the force required to pull the starter cord is just a third of the normal force, and the user only has to set the choke, pump the fuel primer, and pull the starter cord for simplified starting. The machine is switched off with a brief press of the stop button, at which point the ignition activates again automatically, so is always ready for starting – a handy feature for professional users. Additionally, a winter setting prevents the air filter and carburettor from freezing, and a multi-function control handle places all controls within easy reach.
What’s included
As well as the brushcutter itself, as standard, an AutoCut 25-2 line head and a GrassCut 230-4 steel blade are both included; the two-line mowing head is ideal for mowing and clearing work, whereas the 4-cutter blade is suited to tough, dry grass and reeds. An advanced universal double shoulder harness is also included to reduce user fatigue over prolonged use.
A 1 year professional warranty with STIHL is included, we will register the machine. T&Cs apply.
