A powerful petrol hand held blower by STIHL ideal for larger gardens.
The STIHL BG86 is equipped with a mighty 2-MIX low emission engine, a HD2 filter to keep out the dust, and 2x nozzles to get the job done and is suitable for both domestic and professional use.
Easy start up process
The STIHL hand-held blower boasts an easy to start process thanks to a manual fuel pump which automatically send the fuel to the carburettor which makes it easier for the user to start up the blower.
Prolongs the life of the engine
Featuring a HD2 filter; the BG86 can be used in areas where there is more dust or debris around thanks to a durable yet oil and water repelling polyethylene material that keeps even the finest particles of dust out. This is also easy to clean and look after too.
Designed for comfort
The STIHL BG86 is ergonomically designed thanks to a soft grip handle for comfortable and secure manoeuvring. Futhermore, the locking throttle lever on the BG86 allows the user to relax the grip to control the blower.

This Stihl BG86 leaf blower is fantastic! Made the mistake of buying a Hyundai blower last year and had nothing but trouble with it, should have bought this stihl blower to start with as it is superior in every way built to last and very reliable. Don’t buy cheap its not worth it.

I wouldn’t put anyone off buying this model as it performs well, however, starting it can be a little tricky due to balancing issues when pulling starter cord. The blower tends to lift/move to the left, even when pressure is applied to the holding handle…I’ve got round this by placing the blower next to something while starting it which stops it shifting to the left when pulling starter cord.

On start-up,the machine sounds like the small-end is rattling. This noise is constant.
My last bg86 didn’t make this noise.
GMD took the machine back and checked it for me.
It’s the revised pull-start system apparently.
Apart from that,the machine works fine.
