Tool-Free Chain Adjustment

Integrated STIHL Quick Chain Tensioning makes adjusting the saw chain straightforward without requiring additional tools. Simply release the sprocket cover before using the thumb wheel to achieve the appropriate chain tension. This convenient system simplifies routine adjustments, helping users keep the chainsaw correctly prepared throughout different cutting jobs.

Efficient Chain Lubrication

The STIHL Ematic chain lubrication system precisely distributes oil across the saw chain links and guide bar rails. When combined with STIHL Oilomatic chain, the system can reduce bar oil consumption by up to 50%. A transparent chain oil tank also allows users to conveniently check the remaining oil level without opening the filler cap.

Enhanced Safety and Comfortable Handling

The QuickStop Super chain brake provides additional braking support to enhance safety during chainsaw operation. The chain also stops when the rear handle is released, helping minimise chain overrun after operation.
