Heavy-Duty Fixed Blade Cartridge

The supplied 42cm Fixed Blade Cartridge is designed for deep scarification and lawn slitting applications. It uses 2mm thick fixed blades, providing greater strength and deeper working capability than free-swinging alternatives.

Each blade features three edges and sits on a central rod within an alternating arrangement. The blades are evenly positioned using 26mm spacers, creating consistent coverage throughout the working width.

This cartridge is particularly effective for removing thick, deep-seated thatch and moss from demanding lawns. Cutting into the soil also improves access for air, water and nutrients around the grass roots.

Ideal for Seasonal Lawn Renovation

The Fixed Blade Cartridge is recommended for seasonal scarifying during spring and autumn. It provides the intensive treatment required for annual lawn renovation and restoring neglected grassed areas.

The engine sits on rubber dampening blocks, reducing vibration transferred towards the operator during scarifying. This improves comfort and control, particularly when treating larger lawns or completing more demanding renovation work.

Accurate Working Depth Control

An improved height adjustment knob allows the scarifying depth to be set quickly and accurately. Correct depth adjustment helps achieve effective material removal without unnecessarily disturbing healthy grass growth.

Once lifted, debris moves through an angled rear discharge flap designed to improve material flow away from the chassis. Improved discharge helps reduce clogging while supporting smoother progress throughout demanding scarifying sessions.
