Overview of the STIHL SHA56

Designed for domestic use, the STIHL SHA 56 Cordless Vacuum Shredder and Blower weighs 3.2kg (without the battery) and is supplied with a 40-litre collection bag. It has a maximum blowing force of 8 N, maximum air speed of 56 m/s, and sound power level of 94 dB(A).

Light in weight but still powerful, the SHA56 is designed with variable speed control too, so you can adjust the blowing and suction power to meet your precise requirements.

Changing from Blower to Shredder

The SHA56 can easily be converted from blower to shredder using a simple ‘click and twist’ mechanism. There’s no need to use tools, just click the appropriate tube into place, twist the handle into the desire position, and you’re ready to go.

2 x Batteries and Charger

Being a Promotional Kit, this cordless vacuum shredder and blower is supplied with two AK 20 batteries and an AL 101 charger as standard. Because the tool only requires one battery, the other can be used as a spare.

On a full charge, STIHL AK 20 batteries have a working time of up to 25 minutes. This should be sufficient to clear 75 m² of ground in suction mode or 600 m² in blowing mode.

Using the AL 101 charger, the battery takes 180 minutes to complete a full charge, reaching an 80% charge in only 135 minutes.

2) Removing wet leaves demands additional effort and power compared to dry leaves, resulting in more time spent cleaning a smaller space. For better efficiency and to prolong the life of your battery, it’s recommended to choose a dry day for your garden maintenance tasks.

3) Instead of dispersing leaves throughout the garden using the SHA 56 in blower mode, aim them towards a corner to keep them grouped together. This approach makes it easier to vacuum them when you switch the SHA 56 to suction mode.
