An extremely light 1.0 kW arborist chainsaw.
This is a top handle chainsaw, you will need a climbing chainsaw license if you wish to purchase this machine. We will request a copy of your license once the order has been placed.
Ideal for cutting back trees, professional pruning, limited crown reduction and working from a cherry picker, the MS 150 TC-E is the lightweight champion of STIHL arborist saws.
Comfortable, hassle-free operation
STIHL's ErgoStart system facilitates effortless starting of the saw, while a manual fuel pump reduces the number of starting strokes required. The air filter system is easy to clean, while a compensator in the carburettor prevents the fuel-air mixture from getting richer as the filter becomes clogged. The tensioning screw is located on the side of the chainsaw through the sprocket cover, removing the need for contact with the sharp saw chain.
Excellent cutting performance
The fuel-air mix is swirled before ignition, allowing for optimum combustion and highly efficient performance, resulting in lower fuel consumption and high torque across a broad rpm range. A low vibration, low kickback 1/4 inch Picco chain and bar perfectly complements the 2-MIX engine in this saw, transforming the power into a fine, accurate cut. You can choose from either a 10 inch or a 12 inch bar.
Clever extras included as standard
Perfect for arborists, a fold-out hook serves as a carrying rope attachment for lowering the saw as well as for security. Once pushed in, the hook doesn't get in the way. This saw uses the Ematic chain lubrication system that ensures pinpoint lubrication of the saw chain links and guide bar rails - providing maximum lubrication, longer wear and less oil consumption. It also benefits from STIHL's patented tool less oil and fuel caps, allowing you to refill without tools and without spillage.
