A scarifier cartridge for the Allett Stirling 43
The scarifier cartridge is the most popular cultivation cartridge, and boasts rotating spring tines designed to remove thatch, moss, and surface debris from the surface of the lawn for a luscious finish; it also helps lift lateral growth upright before mowing ensuring a cleaner cut. The tines allow for safe cultivation where tree roots may be close to the surface, and also pick up leaves during the Autumn months. The cartridge measures 17 inch and is part of Allett's ultra-change system, meaning it can be switched in and out of the Allett Stirling 43 cylinder mower in as little as 7 seconds.
How often do you need to scarify your lawn?
It is advisable to scarifer your lawn about once a month during the mowing season to keep on top of thatch levels.
