To choose the right replacement mowing deck, you'll need your ride-on mower's make, model and, where relevant, its series or deck designation. The decks’ individual product pages include compatibility information to help you select the correct ride-on mower cutting deck. Always verify that the deck is suitable for your machine before purchasing.
Does a larger cutting deck always mean better performance?
Not necessarily. A wider ride-on mower deck can reduce mowing time on large, open lawns by covering more ground with each pass. However, a narrower deck is often easier to manoeuvre around trees, flower beds and other obstacles. The ideal cutting width depends on both your lawn and the mower you're using.
How does a Combi deck work?
A Combi deck combines the benefits of a mulching deck and a rear-discharge deck in a single unit. On compatible ride-on mowers, you can choose to mulch grass clippings back into the lawn or discharge them to the rear/ into a collector, depending on the machine. This flexibility allows you to adapt to changing mowing conditions throughout the season.
Are replacement mowing decks interchangeable?
No. Replacement mowing decks are engineered for specific ride-on mowers and garden tractors. As mounting systems, drive arrangements and deck dimensions differ between manufacturers and models, you should always select a ride-on mower cutting deck that is approved for your particular machine.
What do anti-scalp wheels do on a ride-on mower deck?
