About the HONDA FG110 Tiller
Compact, lightweight, and easy to use.
The Honda FG110 is the smallest in the range of micro-tillers – these multi-purpose machines are designed to save time and effort during difficult tasks around the garden.
This lightweight machine is perfect for flowerbeds and small vegetable plots. Powered by Honda’s revolutionary GX25 mini 4-stroke OHC engine, which provides an easy start and a smooth steady operation performance.
In addition to this, the engine has excellent torque, fuel efficiency and runs on unleaded fuel so you don’t have to worry about preparing a special fuel/oil mix as required by 2 stroke engines. Once running they are incredibly quiet and virtually smoke free.
Features include a single speed transmission, which uses a worm gear providing more torque than the common screw gear type used on most other mini cultivators for increased efficiency under heavy load. Exclusive Honda hybrid tines dig and cultivate at the same time providing excellent results.
An ergonomic design makes transporting the Honda FG110 tillers around the garden is easy , thanks to their central carrying handle and easy folding handlebars for easy storage and transport. Just simply unfold and tighten for use.
Transport wheels are supplied as standard.
Maintain Your Honda Products Properly
To keep your Honda petrol machinery running at its best, use standard pump fuels such as SP95, SP98, or SP95-E10.
While Honda doesn’t supply alkylate fuel, its use is permitted.
It’s important to always add a fuel stabiliser, especially if you’re storing fuel for more than a few weeks, as this helps prevent engine issues and keeps the fuel fresh.
Fuel should be stored in small amounts (no more than 5 litres) in a sealed container, away from heat and sunlight. Use within one month unless treated with a stabiliser.
At the end of the season—or if the machine won’t be used for a while—it’s recommended to drain the fuel tank and follow the storage advice in the user manual.

Henry Still –
Powerful tiller that belies its tiny engine. A bonus is the reliability of a Honda product. Would recommend it.
ASHLEY EDGAR –
Excellent. Expensive but just what I need. Sturdy and as it says on the tin
Ashley Edgar –
Just what I wanted. More powerful than my old merry tiller which is what I need for my new house with its clay soil and previous neglect. Easy to start and easy to control. Very happy with it in spite of the expense.
Thomas Halhead –
This is a great machine. I saw some others on neighbouring allotments and the work it saves on digging and particularly weeding between rows of vegetables. My only disappointment was unknowingly getting the throttle cable caught in the folding handle and damaging it. A warning that this can occur would be useful.
Customer Steve Marsh –
Don’t buy rubbish this is the best
Susan Smith –
This is a fantastic bit of kit. Well worth the money. Light weight enough to be manoverable, but gets the tough jobs done too.
Simon Burrage –
It really is as good as other reviews suggested. Have been using it to prepare a full allotment plot that had been untended for a couple of years. West London soil, very damp (due to extensive recent rain) and it has just chomped through it.
Did about 40 sq m last weekend of really damp ground in just over 2 hours and that included 8 sq m of compacted grass covered stuff. that I used the digging tines for. Expect that it would take much less time if the land were drier.
Very quiet in operation, very easy to start, very stable and controllable (compared to the electric “The Handy” one that we have), and very light (bought mainly for my wife to use).
The tines are easy to remove/change so if they get really fouled with roots/grass/clay or a large rock you can just slide them off to free them – much better than the electric tiller we use to use in the back garden.
If bought from a Honda dealer it should come fully assembled and tested, you just have to pour the oil (provided) in the sump and fill the petrol tank.
Anthony Messenger –
Really good little tiller, it managed to till my garden after a full day of rain the previous day, and given that its fairly heavy soil I was suitably impressed
Mr Ed –
Fantastic easy to use, light weight tiller.
MR D MITCHINSON –
If you just need a tiller then the FG110 is great. Fantastic engine that starts easily and provides plenty of power. An easy to transport, well built machine. The only issue comes when ordering the terrible lawn care kit. The de thatcher is appallingly designed. For this reason, if you want anything more than a tiller then avoid.
