STIHL’s latest 4-MIX technology on board

From the new and improved 36.3 cc 4-MIX engine that powers this machine, you can expect simpler starting, improved handling and a larger fuel tank. The other benefits of the 4-MIX system are fast acceleration, high power, increased torque, lower emissions, less noise and improved fuel efficiency – essentially all the advantages of a 4-stroke machine without the drawbacks, running on a fuel-oil mix just like a 2-stroke engine.

Effortless operation thanks to clever design

The engine unit weighs under 5 kg, with a compact design that makes it easy to handle and transport. It includes a manual fuel pump that allows for fewer strokes to start the tool, while less force on the starter rope is also required, thanks to a decompression valve. An auto-reset stop switch allows for simple restarting, while the fact that the engine controls are grouped on a multi-function control handle means you can use them with just one hand.
