The STIHL MS251 Petrol Chainsaw weighs 5.71 kg (without fuel, but with the bar and chain) and features a high-performance, fuel-efficient 2-MIX engine, giving it an exceptionally impressive power-to-weight ratio of 2.2 kg/ kW.  This market-leading chainsaw also includes a 0.325-inch P saw chain, which has a narrow kerf to ensure very precise cutting. The machine has a sound power level of 114 dB(A).

This STIHL chainsaw is available with either a 40 cm (16-inch) or 45 cm (18-inch) guide bar, so you can match it to meet your exact cutting requirements.

The MS251’s High-Torque, Low-Emission 2-MIX Engine

The MS 251’s 2.2 kW (3 hp), high-torque, low-maintenance 2-MIX engine boasts up to 70% lower emissions and up to 20% less fuel consumption than a standard STIHL 2-stroke engine of the same power but without the 2-MIX technology. Not only does this make the MS 251 kinder to the environment than most petrol chainsaws, but it will also save you a lot of money on fuel.

Durable Air Filtration System

The air filtration system works through the principle of pre separation routing. This means air is drawn inwards, swirled around, and the coarser, heavier dirt and dust are ejected. Pre-cleaned air is then routed to the filter via the pre-separator duct. This HD2 filter keeps even the finest dust particles away from the engine’s working parts.

The pre separation process gives the air filter a much longer service life than those found in conventional filtration systems.

Anti-Vibration System Means More Comfortable Work
