Not suitable for me and had to return, found them heavy and not a suitable replacement for my Spear & Jackson Kew collection.
I am 76 years of age so maybe suitable for a younger person although I have reasonable level of strength for my age.

I am very pleased with this product. The cutting blades are sharp and very strong. The smooth wooden handles are easy to hold making the cutting action of the shears a pleasure to use. I have been able to cut through a variety of hedging with ease. I wouldn’t recommend using the shears to cut branches with a girth larger than the diameter of a little finger. For larger branches, I use professional secateurs, loppers or even a saw. Nevertheless, this is a robust and well made piece of equipment and well worth the Stihl name. I personally clean the cutting blades after every use to prevent residue build up from leaf material. I carefully wash them with a damp sponge, then immediately dry them off. It’s worth taking this amount of care with the shears, they will last longer as a result. Overall, a great product, perfect for my garden.
