STIHL’s RMA 248 is a cordless lawnmower from their AK System; it has a robust 46 cm cutter deck and is easy to manoeuvre and straightforward to use, making it the perfect choice for small to medium lawns (approximately the size of a tennis court). Includes 2 x batteries and a charger.

Quick and efficient cut and collection

The RMA 248 is lightweight (21 kg) and easy to manoeuvre for quick working. A strong air flow is generated inside the housing which lifts the grass blades before cutting for efficient, precise cutting, and ensures optimum filling of the large 55 Litre grass box that includes a convenient fill level indicator. The cutting height is easily controlled with a single lever between 7 preset settings 25-75 mm.

Built to last, the powder-coated sheet steel housing is torsion-resistant and particularly durable to withstand prolonged use; the wheels are also very robust and are equipped with a directional stability profile to ensure smooth movements. A nonobligatory ECO mode can be turned on to increase the battery life for extended working time. When not in use, the handlebar can be folded down and the grass box removed for compact storage. The RMA 248 is compatible with Smart Connector (sold separately), a digital management system.

There are no limits as to where it can be used, there are no restrictive cables and operation is much quieter meaning you can mow any where, any time. It is lighter in weight and doesn’t emit harmful emissions making for a more pleasant user experience. The AK System batteries are fully interchangeable with other garden machinery in the same series, allowing flexible working for a lesser cost as you only need to purchase the shell of a future machine.

This promotional kit contains 2 x AK 30 batteries and an AL 101 standard charger. Each battery provides ~250m² coverage per full charge, and when one runs out simply pop it onto charge and insert the second battery to carry on working; the standard charger will restore the battery from 0-100% in 205 minutes.
