The RMA 248 by STIHL is a push-along cordless lawn mower engineered specifically for beginners and designed to effectively maintain small to medium-sized lawns. As a part of STIHL’s 2 Series of battery-powered mowers, this model stands out for its light weight, quiet operation, and user-friendly features, making it perfect for residential lawn care.

Durable Build and User-Friendly Adjustments

Constructed with a durable sheet steel deck, this mower offers a 46 cm cutting width and features a convenient single-point height adjustment ranging from 20 to 100 mm. It operates with an AK 20 battery (sold separately) from the STIHL AK System, which is compatible with various tools within the same range. The mower includes dual battery slots to allow a quick switch between two AK batteries, maximizing uptime. With a full charge, the AK 20 battery enables you to mow up to 220 m².

Flexible Mowing Options and Easy Maintenance

Versatility in mowing is a key feature of the RMA 248, allowing you to choose between cutting and collecting grass with the attached catcher, directly dropping clippings back to the lawn, discharging them through an integrated flap, or mulching using the supplied multi-blade and attachment.

The comfort mono-handlebar simplifies access to the 52-litre grass catcher, which includes a fill-level indicator to notify you when it’s time for emptying. Designed for quick, hassle-free disposal of contents and adjustable for ease of use, the handlebar also folds, making storage of the mower straightforward and convenient, ensuring it fits well into any home environment.

Battery and charger not included

The RMA 248 lawnmower is a shell only and requires a battery and charger to operate.  We recommend the STIHL AK 20 battery alongside the STIHL charger for optimal performance and excellent run times.
