The Honda EC5000 generator is the most powerful model in Honda's value for money EC generator line-up. The Honda EC range are built as economically specified machines and offer legendary robust four-stroke reliability housed within the traditional generator frame. The Honda EC range is used widely throughout the construction industry due to the rugged build quality and the continuous reliability customers have come to expect from Honda. The EC5000 offers the user dual voltage output, 115 / 230 volts, ideal for running 110 volt power tools or standard 240 volt appliances. Featuring a 6.5 litre fuel tank, running on unleaded petrol, this model will provide 5000 watts (max) of power for 2.3 hours before requiring a re-fill. Oil alert prevents engine damage by automatically shutting the unit down if the oil level falls below the safe operating limit. The Honda EC5000 generators feature rubber engine mounts to reduce vibrations and operating noise whilst maximising the life of the durable, yet lightweight, steel frame, which features a powder coating for extended durability. Circuit breaker outlets avoid equipment damage and injury in the event of a short circuit.
