The STIHL TPA 20 Cordless Water Pump offers a practical way to move water without relying on mains electricity. Suitable for irrigation and water drainage, it provides flexible performance for homeowners and allotment gardeners.

Operating with the STIHL AS Battery System, this portable pump makes transferring collected rainwater straightforward. It can also empty small pools, water tanks and containers, making it useful for various outdoor maintenance tasks.

Flexible Two-in-One Pumping and Flat Suction

The TPA 20 combines standard water pumping and flat suction functionality within one compact, battery-powered unit. This allows users to switch between watering plants and removing unwanted water from suitable containers.

A tool-free removable pump base makes changing to flat suction quick and straightforward. In this configuration, the pump can remove water until approximately 2mm remains, reducing the need for manual emptying. With a maximum immersion depth of 2 metres, it also accommodates water transfer from deeper tanks and containers.

Three Adjustable Power Levels for Greater Control

The easy-to-use control interface allows users to select from three power settings according to their pumping requirements. Each setting provides a different combination of water pressure and flow rate, supporting efficient operation across various applications.

Level 1 provides 1,300 litres per hour at 0.9 bar, making it suitable for minor cleaning tasks. Level 2 delivers 1,700 litres per hour at 1.5 bar, providing suitable performance for standard garden hose watering. For higher water demands, Level 3 offers 2,200 litres per hour at 2.2 bar. This setting is particularly useful when operating sprinklers or transferring water through longer hoses.

Automatic Shut-Off and Convenient Operating Timers

The TPA 20 includes three adjustable timer intervals of 5, 10 and 15 minutes for controlled pumping. These settings allow users to choose an appropriate operating period without continuously supervising the pump.

Its integrated dry-running protection detects when water is unavailable and automatically switches off the equipment. This important feature helps prevent unnecessary component wear while conserving battery energy. A double sealing system supports dependable operation, while the removable integrated filter makes routine cleaning easier.

Reliable Battery Performance Without Mains Power

The recommended STIHL AS 2 battery provides cordless freedom when working around gardens, allotments and outdoor water storage areas. Depending on the selected power setting, operating times range from approximately 15 to 49 minutes. At the highest setting, a fully charged AS 2 battery can pump approximately 550 litres of water. This provides useful capacity for everyday irrigation and smaller drainage applications.

Supplied Accessories for Convenient Water Transfer

The TPA 20 comes with a submersible pump unit, power unit and 2.5-metre connecting cable. Additional equipment includes a barrel hook, 2.5-metre hose, hose guide and shut-off valve for practical installation. The supplied quick-connect fittings and three hose adapters accommodate different hose sizes, simplifying connections for various watering applications.
