Controlled by a single foot pedal, this ride on mower has a maximum speed of 10 kmph (6.2 mph), 18-litre fuel tank capacity, gas-assisted deck lift, and weighs 450 kg (without fuel). Designed with two blades, it features a cutting width of 106.7 cm (42 inches) and adjustable cutting height, which can be controlled through an easy-to-reach dial.

What’s more, a gas-assisted lifting mechanism makes it exceptionally easy to empty this grass collector, even when it’s full of grass.
Improvements on the Kubota GR1600 Mark I
Kubota has added a series of user-friendly features to make your mowing even easier than it was with the MKI model.
Firstly, the discharge chute has been widened to ensure a smoother flow of grass, while the collector sits lower on the machine to prevent clogging.
Secondly, a new electronic sensor has been installed, so the mower notifies you as soon as the grass collector needs emptying.
Thirdly, the roll bar has been redesigned for even greater safety and can now easily be folded down. This allows you to mow in places which would otherwise require a fully retracted model.
Finally, a new lever, located on the side of the mower, allows you to expel grass from the discharge chute without leaving the driver’s seat – yet another great feature, designed to make your mowing go as seamlessly as possible.

Tony Allan –
Had ours for several months, and overall working well. Fantastic on the flat lawn (~1acre) and cuts really well with a large grass collection capacity (Ours came with 1 collector bag, no idea why, so need to chase them up). On the paddock / field (~3 acres) the rear deflector is a great addition and copes really well with the longer grass. Part of the field is relatively steep, and it is a little underpowered when going up the hill.
The ROPS can be a bit of a pain if you have low trees to get under, and the TOW hitch can sometimes be a bit awkward to clip in.
Overall, its easy to use and we are glad we purchased it, its a great piece of kit that will retain more value (Than certain other brands) when you come to sell it. Next time, we may spend a little more on the GR2120.
