About the BCS Additional Coupling (for powered implements)

The Essential Connector for Powered Attachments: BCS Additional Coupling

The BCS Additional Coupling (for powered implements) is an essential component for operators wanting to expand the versatility of their BCS power unit. When your machine is fitted with the BCS implement quick coupling assembly, this additional coupling provides the correct, secure connection point needed for any attachment that relies on the power unit’s PTO drive. If you’re planning to use powered implements such as rotavators, flail mowers, sweeper brushes, or snow blowers, this is the coupling required to connect them safely and correctly.

Strong, reliable, and purpose-built, the additional coupling ensures a smooth, accurate engagement with both the power unit and the implement, allowing PTO-driven attachments to perform at their full capability.

For All PTO-Driven Implements

Any implement that requires power from the machine—whether through rotary motion, drive belts, or augers—must be paired with an additional coupling rather than a blank coupling. This allows the PTO shaft of the power unit to align precisely with the driven mechanism of the attachment, maintaining correct transmission speed, reduced wear, and proper operator safety.

Typical powered implements requiring this coupling include:

  • Rotavators
  • Flail mowers
  • Brush sweepers
  • Snow blowers
  • Stone buriers
  • Power harrows
  • Hay and grass management tools

Using the correct coupling is essential to ensure long-term reliability and avoid damage caused by incorrect PTO engagement.

Simple Installation With a Secure Fit

The BCS Additional Coupling is designed to slot into the machine’s existing implement quick coupling system. Once in place, implements can be attached or removed quickly and efficiently, making it easier to switch between tasks throughout the working day.

The coupling is robustly built to withstand the stresses of PTO-driven work, providing a dependable link between the power unit and the implement. Whether you’re working in soil, grassland, gravel, or winter conditions, the connection remains stable and smooth.

Compatibility Note: For Most BCS Units, Except 660HY & 750

This additional coupling fits BCS power units equipped with the standard BCS quick coupling system. However, the BCS 660HY and BCS 750 use a different inbuilt coupling system, meaning they require a specific dedicated coupling designed for those models. Operators of those units should purchase the correct 660HY/750 coupler instead.

When to Use the Blank Coupling Instead

If the implement you want to attach is non-powered—for example, a snow plough, ridger, or furrower—then the BCS Blank Coupling is the correct choice. Non-powered implements do not require PTO engagement, so using the blank coupling ensures the right fit and smooth operation.

Unlock the Full Capability of Your BCS Machine

For anyone using PTO-driven attachments, the BCS Additional Coupling is the key to safe, correct operation and fast implement changes. Its strong construction, simple installation, and compatibility with a wide range of powered tools make it an essential accessory for maximising the potential of your BCS system.

Equip your power unit with the proper coupling and get the most from every implement—powered performance starts with the right connection.
