What does 'refurbished' mean in relation to some of the garden machinery listed on this website?
Refurbished (sometimes referred to as ‘graded’) machines are not brand new, but remain in excellent working condition. In some cases, they may simply have been used for demonstrations or in product displays. Sold at a lower price than brand‑new machines, they may show minor cosmetic marks but have been professionally inspected and tested to meet manufacturer standards.
Are refurbished garden machines covered by a warranty?
Most of our refurbished machines come with a warranty covering parts and labour against manufacturing defects, but please refer to the individual product pages for confirmation.
Can I return a refurbished item if I'm not satisfied?
Yes, you can. You must notify us of your intention to return the graded product within 14 days of purchase. You then have a further 14 days to return it for a full refund, provided it is in its original condition and packaging. Return shipping costs may apply unless the item is faulty.
Do refurbished machines come with accessories or manuals?
Refurbished machines are supplied with all standard accessories and user manuals that accompany a new model. If any accessory is missing, please contact our friendly team for a replacement.
How can I tell if a specific product is refurbished on the website?
Every refurbished item is listed in the Refurbished category (www.gardenmachinerydirect.co.uk/shop/c/refurbished-2/) and has either the word ‘refurbished’ or ‘graded’ in brackets after the product name.
