The Honda WT20 Trash Water Pump is engineered for demanding applications involving dirty, debris-filled water. It is particularly suited to construction sites, commercial environments, lakes and rivers where conventional pumps may struggle.

Its heavy-duty construction allows the WT20 to handle water containing silt, debris and other abrasive material. A 2-inch pump design combines high-volume water movement with the durability required for challenging working environments.

Powerful Honda GX160 Engine

The WT20 is powered by a 163cc Honda GX160 commercial-grade OHV engine, providing dependable power under demanding conditions. Honda’s commercial engine technology also supports straightforward starting, helping operators begin pumping without unnecessary delays.

An integrated Honda Oil Alert system automatically shuts down the engine if oil falls below a safe level. This provides valuable protection against potential engine damage caused by insufficient lubrication during operation.

Move Up to 700 Litres Per Minute

With a maximum discharge capacity of approximately 700 litres per minute, the WT20 can move substantial water volumes quickly. This high capacity makes it particularly valuable where large quantities of contaminated water require efficient removal.

The pump provides a total head lift of approximately 26 metres, delivering useful pushing power across demanding applications. A maximum suction head of approximately eight metres further supports versatile water movement across different working environments.

Handles Solids and Debris

The WT20 can handle solids measuring up to 13/16 inches, making it suitable for challenging dirty-water applications. A heavy-duty metal strainer helps prevent oversized material from entering the pump while maintaining substantial water flow.

The unique conical cast iron impeller supports strong pumping and priming performance while helping resist clogging and wear. Wide impeller vanes further contribute towards durability when handling water containing abrasive debris.

Durable Construction for Demanding Conditions

A rigid-mounted cast iron volute provides excellent durability, helping reduce case wear throughout demanding pumping applications. The volute also incorporates a replaceable stainless steel wear plate, supporting longevity while helping reduce maintenance costs.

A durable silicon carbide mechanical seal provides excellent resistance against abrasive materials encountered within dirty water. Maintaining an effective seal also helps prevent air entering and compromising the vacuum required for efficient pumping.

Easy Cleaning and Maintenance

A removable quick-clean inspection cover provides straightforward access when debris needs clearing from inside the pump. Quick-release bolts simplify opening the pump case, helping reduce downtime when working in debris-heavy conditions.

A supplied multi-purpose service tool assists with pump case removal, plugs and hose couplings. This practical addition makes routine servicing and cleaning more convenient when working away from the workshop.

Stable and Protected During Operation

Honda’s anti-vibration system with 45-degree inclined rubber mounts helps minimise vibration at higher engine speeds. Reduced movement can improve stability while also limiting unnecessary wear across pump components.
