The G231 is from Kubota’s new G-Series, a range which has been designed to deliver high performance, comfort, and ease of operation. It is most suited to commercial operation for use on larger lawns and those with demanding conditions, but discerning landowners will equally enjoy the benefits of the G231.

Impressive cutting performance in all conditions

The impressive cutting deck is capable of mowing allsorts of grass conditions, even if it is particularly tall, dense, and wet. It has a 122 cm / 48 inch working width which is capable of mowing up to 1 hectare per hour. The cutting height can be adjusted using a dial gauge from 25 mm to 102 mm.

Available with a low dump or a high dump collector

There are two collector type options available for the G231. The first is a 560 Litre low dump fabric grass collector which has a super efficient, uncomparable dumping cycle. The second is a 640 Litre high dump fabric grass collector which can be emptied from up to 1970 m high, with the whole dumping process taking less than 15 seconds. Both low dump and high dump collectors can be emptied from the operators seat for minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.

Consistent performance day after day

The G231 has a maximum forward speed of 19 km/h and a reverse speed of 6 km/h, both of which are conveniently controlled with a single pedal for smooth operation. A hydrostatic gearbox and a superior 898cm³ diesel engine promise high movement speeds and the electromagnetic PTO clutch ensures maximum power reaches the cutting deck, for efficient mowing. A homologation kit can be purchased separately to unlock the full potential of the G231 and turn it into a road-legal vehicle.

User comfort is ensured

A Kross control joystick provides access to most controls including the electromagnetic PTO clutch, the mowing deck, and the grass collector amongst other things. Cruise control is a welcomed function which allows for effortless mowing of large areas, even without the pedal needing to be pressed! The angle of the steering wheel can be altered to suit the users requirements for comfortable operation. When the time comes, maintenance is easy thanks to the one-piece bonnet which provides quick access to all service components.
