The Kubota Grass Deflector is designed to be used with the GR1600 / GR2100 and the current GR2120 Garden Tractors.

This rather poor product arrived in a recycled box with no fitting instructions and none to be found online. An email to Garden Machinery Direct was promptly answered with some cursory guidance notes which involved drilling holes into my new Kubota, surely a future corrosion risk. Keen to cut some long grass I continued. Securing the pivot pins for the deflector required removal of the roll over bar (ROPS) at some considerable effort in order to get access to tighten the nuts. There are 3 different drill sizes required for the supplied fixings. In order to hold the deflector in position with the supplied clevis pin a hole was also required in the powder coated deflector, another corrosion risk. The box itself seems ok but the fittings are poor with inappropriately long rivets, one of which failed first time. Ok it works and comes on and off reasonably easily but what an effort to fit it!!
