A quality 51 cm / 20 inch cut Mountfield mower.
The SP53 is a self-propelled machine, packed with fantastic features that make it a pleasure to use, ideal for medium to large size lawns.
A joy to work with
Thanks to a ergonomic, comfortable handle combined with self-propulsion and throttle control, you are able to use the Mountfield SP53 easily with complete control. It takes the strain out of mowing sloping gardens, as well as making lawn care all round far easier.
Large diameter rear wheels and ball bearings help to ensure a smooth drive and improved control over rough patches. Furthermore, the handle height is adjustable, so that you can get the perfect operating position for you.
Get a fantastic finish to your lawn
Courtesy of five cutting heights between 27 and 90 mm, you can achieve the ideal finish for your lawn, and are able to easily switch between them using the single lever. The inclusion of an anti-scalp plate means you don’t have to worry about damage to your lawn, while the cutting width of 51 cm / 20 inches allows you to tackle more of the garden in less time.
A mulching plug is provided which allows for increased versatility and the ability to achieve a great finish that is also brilliant for the health of your grass.
Excellent-quality features & design
The ST 170 OHV Autochoke engine powered by STIGA powers this machine and ensures the drive and cutting performance won’t let you down, while the fact that it has a powder coated steel chassis adds robustness and strength to its arsenal.
The grass collector is a generous 60 litres, so you can cut for longer without needing to stop, and it is easy to remove and re-attach when the time does come to empty it. In terms of safety, an operator presence control cut out is in place so that should your hand leave the handle, the machine will stop.
Comes with a 2 year conditional warranty.
