The STIGA Tornado 398 M petrol garden tractor replaces the STIGA Tornado 2098 ride-on mower, with its powerful STIGA ST 350 engine model and 6 litre fuel tank, is the ideal ride-on mower to mow lawns up to 4500 m2 effortlessly.
Better control of the mower
The modern Tornado 398 M is equipped with a mechanical transmission which enables the user to use a designated lever to change gears as well as using it to reverse too, making for better control of the ride-on mower.
A cut above
The STIGA Tornado 398 M garden tractor is equipped with a 98 cm cutting deck to cover more area and 2 blades for a finer cut. These blades can be easily started with a touch of a button thanks to the special electromagnetic clutch. Furthermore, the cutting deck features a smart washing link which cleans the cutting deck.
In addition, the Tornado 398 M features a 7 cutting height system operated by a lever close to the driving seat to give the user full control over adjusting the cutting heights between 25 mm to 80 mm based on user preference, grass type and conditions.
To side discharge or to mulch? You choose
The STIGA Tornado 398 M is designed for users cutting grass with the side-discharge function, however, users can also purchase a mulching kit separately should they wish to. A mulching kit will help to shred the grass clippings into small particles, to then be dispersed back onto the lawn, which ten acts as a fantastic natural fertilizer for a luscious lawn.

Thanks to the STIGA Ergonomic steering wheel combined with the STIGA Classic adjustable high back seat; the STIGA Tornado 398 M garden tractor provides comfort and ease; whilst tackling those challenging jobs.
