Seems to be a sturdy machine. Starting mechanism not quite as smooth as I would have expected.

I had quite a large area of grass to cut using a strimmer because it debris being amongst it.
I had previously used a Ferrex Petrol 32.6CC strimmer from which had decent power but it packed up so opted for a Stihl FS 55 R which is 26.2 CC.
I was very impressed by its performance. Cutting Grass/stinging nettles using the nylon line wasn’t a problem at all!
The brambles and thicker stemmed weeds I changed the head to a blade wheel and that wasn’t an issue either if anything I could use less throttle for that.
Overall very happy with the product and fires up (starts) no problem.
Things to note (I’m an amateur so for me these were good to know and might not be for you if you’re experienced)
• I used the Stihl pre-mixed fuel and that worked really well lasts about 45mins depending on throttle usage.
• Keep the nylon line fairly loose when you load it in so when you press down the line comes out

Top quality machinery at what I believe are competitive prices. I suppose they could speed up delivery, but they are reliable and goods arrive as promised.
I like dealing with them and have since purchased further equipment from them.
They have a good range and I hope to be a long term customer.

Over the years I’ve bought cheap petrol strimmer/brushcutter and all have been adequate but never lasted more than a year so bit the bullet and bought this, what a bit of kit!! So much power for such a small piece or machinery, I have a large garden and also 3.5 acre paddock and it’s whipped through it all effortlessly!! Hopefully this will last as long as their reputation.
