STIHL FS 361 C-EM Petrol Clearing Saw

Redesigned for 2022, the FS 361 C-EM replaces the FS 360 C-EM

The STIHL FS 361 C-EM is a direct replacement for the FS 360 C-EM but with a number of improvements; it has a faster cutting speed and a new wider cutting diameter of 520 mm instead of 480 mm, an optimised gearbox suited to the larger cutting diameter, slightly reduced sound power level 112 dB(A) to 110 dB(A), plus other user-friendly features.

STIHL’s lightest clearing saw designed for professional work

The FS 361 C-EM weighs in at 8.6 kg (excluding cutting tool and guard), and includes an advance universal harness to further reduce the strain on the operator when mowing tough areas of grass and brush. The clearing saw also has a premium 4-point anti-vibration system to provide more comfort during prolonged working.

Fitted with a new multi-function handle

The bike handle on this machine make it easy and comfortable to use the clearing saw on larger areas; the handles can be adjusted to suit the operator, without the use of tools, and rotated by up to 90 degrees for easy transportation and storage. A newly-designed guard assists with storage also, whilst providing better visibility of the cutting attachment.

Featuring STIHL’s simple-starting technology 

With STIHL ErgoStart built-in, the usual effort required to start a clearing saw is reduced by half, while the starter cord can also be pulled at one third of the normal force. The starting process has been made much simpler, and a manual fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button.

With an efficient 2-MIX engine…

Behind the FS 361 C-EM is STIHL’s 2-MIX engine, which increases fuel efficiency and results in more power with a lower weight and significantly reduced exhaust emissions. There is also a large 0.75 Litre fuel tank which is easily accessible when needed.

…and M-Tronic 3.0 technology

This updated model boasts a fully electronic engine management system that automatically ensures optimum engine performance, constant maximum engine speed and very good acceleration; it also makes it easy to start even in cold-weather conditions, assisting with year-round use.

What’s included

The clearing saw comes equipped with an AutoCut 46-2 mowing head with enough line to get you started, as well as an advanced universal harness.
