The STIHL Function Basic Helmet Set is a three-in-one, lightweight piece of PPE, made from durable high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and weighing 750 g. It features both ear and face protection, securely attached to a sturdy helmet shell, which has additional forehead protection and a carefully contoured rain channel for effective water runoff.

This STIHL Function Basic Helmet System is designed with an enlarged nylon visor, with elastic seals to prevent the ingress of dirt. The integral low profile ear defenders boast an SNR 28 rating, so provide excellent protection from noise – ideal for when you’re using power tools.

The STIHL Function Basic Helmet’s Nylon Mesh

One of the most noticeable STIHL Function Basic Helmet parts is the face mesh. This is made from flexible nylon, which is extremely long lasting and won’t let you down.

This nylon mesh ensures the STIHL Function Helmet provides your face with effective protection from twigs, wood chips, splinters and the like, while you’re carrying out your tasks. What’s more, as the visor has medium-level light transmission, visibility remains good, so it will not impede your sight while you work.
