Great product very pleased
David Alan –
Sits well in the hand and early results are positive. The build quality appears to be good and this seems great for the gardening I do. Well boxed and packed too with a small carry case. Altogether a nice package at a decent price. Illogical charging lights on battery charger unit but once understood works fine.

Elizabeth –

Useful little tool
Colin Grannell –
Excellent piece of kit. The spare battery means you can keep working all day.
Phil Thomas –
Stihl quality so very well made and designed. Lightweight and easy to use and works very well as a pruner – so much easier than using loppers making short work of 1.5 – 2 inch branches. Spare battery is a must but mine came free from gardenmachinery so excellent value. Only downside is the ‘case’ which is useless but otherwise a great piece of kit.
Mick Coates –
Great machine good run time and capable machine for pruning.
Kevin Savage –
Great little tool and was far better than I thought it might be. Cuts through larger branches with no issues and a lot better than me trying to saw them. The bag was a nice touch as was the spare battery. The machine is light and really easy to use and looks to be robust, but time will tell.
Would definitely recommend this nice little chain saw.
Bryan Wakefield –
We were struggling with the garden loppers to cut through larger branches. Reviewed a number of mini chainsaws and watched Utube for user’s experiences. This one came through as the winner. The only negative was battery life. Garden Machinery were offering a free second battery. Problem solved. Both my wife (who doesn’t like chainsaws) and I have used it extensively over the past week. 100% pleased with the saw and with the whole ordering and delivery experience.
Maurice Dominey –
Nice little saw cuts well makes pruning a pleasure.
Battery life is fair for the product and it came with a spare battery bonus.
The storage case is strong and very handy enabling to keep everything tidy and in one place whilst not in use.
Michael Davis –
I have found this tool very easy to use and the purchase process was very simple. The only problem is that the chain can jam easily if cutting fibrous plants
Jo Wilson-Duffy –
Excellent all round. Would definitely buy from Garden Machinery direct again! It arrived on time and the cordless trimmer works amazingly well. It’s light weight and cuts through branches with ease. Te extra battery was a bonus!
P irvine –
An easy to use tool for a disabled oldie who finds gardening more difficult to do these days, it is lightweight enough to be held for long periods of time. It cuts through thicker hedge branches easily without making my arms ache. The case it comes with could definitely be designed to be more useful, the extra battery included is very welcome.
Mark Routh –
It’s a Stihl, well built, cuts easily if it’s kept oiled, sharp and not pushed too hard, battery capacity is ok and mine came with a second battery which was great, but keep in mind that it is a pruner, it won’t cut up your winter’s firewood! Only gripe is that waste of materials case.
MR ROGER SMITH –
Typical Stihl, excellent quality and performance, gives good access to branches because of its size.
Robert Briggs –
Excellent little tool for pruning everything very good just a shame about the case waist of time
Swingbee –
The STIHL GTA26 cordless pruner works extremely well although the chain cover & tension mechanism is a bit fiddly. I would have given 5 stars if the case had been a bit more useful and substantial. The design (of the case) is rather odd and just doesn’t work. The pruner itself is well built and gives an impression of quality.
CHRIS COLE –
Pricey but you get what you pay for. Excellent tool, easy to use and store
Karen Robertson –
Really useful for small branches and trees.
Not good for pruning bendy branches as ideally you need both hands on the saw.
Light weight and easy to use.
Made well, pretty robust.
Only gave 4 stars for value for money as could do with another battery.
John Thurgood –
Pruning is as easy as putting a knife through butter!
Eleanor Phillips –
Excellent
Sandra Macdonald –
Handy wee tool
Mrs Joyce Ranby –
Brilliant little tool, easy to handle and great fir the price.
tim newbold –
A great tool, cuts very well and the only issue is the chain binding or coming off sometimes, which means you have to take the screw right off and put the blade back on the cog , but don’t let that put you off.
Trekka –
Handy little tool, unfortunately the person it was bought for finds it heavy but that aside it works well. I have reduced a star for the “bag” because it isn’t a bag but ! It is a flat open ended “box” and personally it is not much use and i will buy a toolbag. Small point perhaps but I would rather not have had it and had a price reduction.
Clive –
so useful. I am surprised how often I use it. The case is a waste and serves no useful function,
Claire Eldridge –
Excellent choice of pruner
Chris Doobs –
I’ve had this pruner for some months now and it is brilliant! With the holster it’s a great handy bit of kit and I feel quite safe using it but I’ve also used petrol chainsaws and I treat it with the same respect and approach.
The only gripe I have is that it chews through batteries quickly and I have 3 in total now and that’s not quite enough if you’re constantly using the pruner. A rapid charger would really help or better battery capacity.
Chris Deponeo –
Does the job effortlessly just a shame it didn’t come complete with holster.
James O’Hara –
Hhhhhhhhhhh
Andrew Norris –
We Stihl have all our fingers and thumbs (so far).
Colin Mayne –
Just what I wanted a powerful but easy to handle small chain saw that can be used one handed in harder to reach area’s for pruning, perfect.
Customerkevin joyes –
great product and great service
Julie Stackhouse –
I could use a pruning saw but what would take an hour took 10 minutes
Mikky P –
Standard Stihl quality, however it is expensive. Wouldn’t use anything else though
Jacki –
I am really liking how easy it is to use, and I now have no trouble getting rid of ash runners
Duncan Wilkinson –
Not had a chance to use in earnest yet. Well made and seems pretty robust for an electric tool, as expected from Stihl
Tim –
Great product
Ela –
The only pruner/mini chainsaw you will ever need, definitely worth spending that little extra on a quality tool! would recommend!
