Built to last, the mower has a rugged, UV-resistant polymer deck that’s double-layered for extra stability and resistance to rust. It operates with an AK 30 S battery from the STIHL AK System (to be purchased separately), which can be swapped with other compatible tools, increasing its utility. Dual battery slots in the mower’s powerhead facilitate uninterrupted mowing by allowing a quick switch between two batteries.
Flexible Cutting Options for Every Gardener
The RMA 448.3V caters to a variety of mowing preferences. Users can choose to cut and collect clippings using the grass catcher box, drop clippings back onto the lawn, discharge them through the side, or engage the mulching function to nourish the soil. The ergonomic mono-handlebar provides easy access to the 52-litre grass catcher, which includes a fill-level indicator to alert when it’s time for emptying. The catcher is designed for effortless removal and rapid emptying, and the handlebar can be adjusted and folded for easy storage.
