STIHL RMA 248 Cordless Lawn Mower (Kit)

Convenient Battery-Powered Lawn Care

The STIHL RMA 248 Cordless Lawn Mower combines reliable cutting performance with convenient, battery-powered operation for domestic gardens. Designed for small to medium-sized lawns, it offers straightforward handling without petrol fumes or trailing electrical cables. Featuring a 46cm cutting width, 55-litre grass collector and STIHL AK battery technology, it makes regular lawn maintenance easier.

Cordless Freedom with the STIHL AK Battery System

Powered by the STIHL AK 36V lithium-ion battery system, the RMA 248 provides dependable cordless performance for everyday mowing. Its battery-powered design eliminates direct exhaust emissions during operation while producing less noise than conventional petrol lawn mowers.

Supplied with an AK 30 S battery and AL 101 charger, this mower provides everything needed for cordless operation. The battery is also compatible with other tools in the STIHL AK System, offering additional convenience across garden maintenance tasks.

Efficient Cutting with Intelligent Eco Mode

The RMA 248 features an integrated eco mode that automatically adjusts blade speed according to mowing conditions. This intelligent system helps optimise energy consumption, extending battery runtime while maintaining effective cutting performance.

Its 46cm (18-inch) steel cutting deck provides durable construction and efficient coverage across small to medium lawns. The generous cutting width reduces unnecessary passes, helping homeowners complete regular mowing tasks more efficiently.

Adjustable Cutting Heights for a Consistent Finish

With seven adjustable cutting heights ranging from 25mm to 75mm, the RMA 248 accommodates different grass lengths. These settings allow homeowners to maintain their preferred lawn appearance while adapting to seasonal growth and changing conditions.

The central cutting height adjustment system uses a spring-loaded mechanism, making it straightforward to select the desired cutting position. This convenient design eliminates the need to adjust individual wheels separately.

Spacious Grass Collection with Fill-Level Indicator

The 55-litre grass collection box provides generous capacity, reducing interruptions when maintaining larger lawn areas. Its practical design allows straightforward removal and emptying, making regular grass collection more convenient.

An integrated fill-level indicator helps identify when the collector requires emptying, preventing unnecessary checks during mowing. This allows users to maintain a consistent mowing routine while keeping their lawn looking tidy.

Lightweight Handling and Easy Manoeuvrability

Weighing 21kg, the STIHL RMA 248 combines sturdy construction with practical handling for everyday domestic use. Its hand-propelled design provides direct control over movement, while easy-running traction wheels support smooth manoeuvrability. This combination makes navigating garden borders, pathways and obstacles more manageable, particularly across smaller or irregularly shaped lawns.

Space-Saving Design for Convenient Storage

The foldable handlebar allows the mower to be stored more compactly when not in use. Combined with its removable grass collector, this practical design helps maximise available space in sheds and garages. A dedicated spare battery storage compartment also provides convenient access to an additional battery when required.

Reliable STIHL Performance for Everyday Mowing

The STIHL RMA 248 Cordless Lawn Mower combines efficient battery technology, practical handling and versatile cutting adjustment. With its included battery and charger, it offers a convenient solution for maintaining well-kept domestic lawns.
