What a tremendous piece of kit this is! I needed a petrol strimmer for a plot of rough land that has been abandoned and was covered with rough weeds and large nettles etc. My two stroke broke as it wasn’t up to the job, so after research I decided on the Honda – the five year personal use warranty helped in this decisions n!
The kit arrived well packed and needed a small amount of assembly, but the instruction book is easy to follow and everything is coded.
First use – I set it up the way the instructions stated, pull the cord and it fired but stopped. Pulled and pulled but then tried it without the choke and off she went – just didn’t need the choke set!
It sliced through the very thick growth like a knife through butter and a job I had assumed would take half a day was done in an hour. It was faultless – ran and ran apart from when I caught the off button, but it started first time.
They supply a harness and goggles, both of which made the job easier and safer.
Second use, no choke set and it started first time. Brilliant! It again sliced through the remaining weeds in no time, making short work of long grass, nettles and other large spikes weeds. It is easy to use, a gentle tap lengthens the cord making for an uninterrupted workflow.
Hardly any vibration, noise level is acceptable, another Honda win.
I love using this machine, it is so easy and powerful making the job easy. Thoroughly recommended.
