Great value for money! The 3 in One is lightweight and so easy to manage, the box is a bonus but does tip the balance of the machine when stopped to empty. I got used to this and would rather that than have to manoeuvre a heavier machine.
The machine comes with the scarifier bar attached and I had to change it for the rake bar, it was so easy to change. Overall, I am very pleased with the machine and look forward to seeing how it performs when scarifying and aerating my lawn. The cost of employing someone to do the work for me means that the machine will have paid for itself in less than one year!

The design of this is exactly the same of a cheaper scarifier I bought from a French supermarket in the 90’s
The Alko has the same problem, it does not seem able to catch the moss in the collection bag meaning I have to rake the moss to dispose of it which should not be necessary if it worked correctly
Seems to be robustly made, however my cheap supermarket model lasted 30years

Well made and far more robust than my previous scarifier. I researched extensively before buying and wanted a machine that held a lot of grass and didn’t pop out every 5 secs. And this does exactly that. It is stronger and vigorous than the one before and . I made the mistake of starting it on a low setting and it ploughed the gras !! ( I didn’t have the height choice on my old one). Anyway I increased the height and it pulled out all the old dead thatch without tearing up the lawn. It’s surprisingly light and easy to manoeuvre too. Yes it’s expensive but does the job quickly and efficiently. I have no regrets
