Camon LA25 Petrol Lawn Aerator: A Reliable Way to a Healthier Lawn
Maintaining a healthy lawn takes more than regular mowing. Effective aeration is essential if you want strong root growth and lasting results. The Camon LA25 Petrol Lawn Aerator is a powerful and versatile solution, designed to deliver professional performance across a wide range of lawn types. Built in Britain to the highest standards, this heavy duty lawn aerator helps relieve soil compaction, improve drainage, and encourage better nutrient uptake.
Ideal for demanding domestic users and professionals alike, the LA25 lawn aerator has an unparallelled build quality, highly adaptable design, and is extremely easy to use. One of our best aerators for transforming tired turf, this machine offers everything you need to achieve a healthier, more attractive lawn.
Reliable Honda Engine and Robust Gearbox
Powering this petrol aerator is a trusted Honda GX160 engine. Known for its reliable performance, it delivers consistent power to help you tackle compacted ground with confidence.
The high-quality gearbox enhances durability and ensures smooth operation over time. Together, the engine and drive system create a dependable garden aerator built for regular use, season after season.
Versatile Tine Options for Comprehensive Lawn Care
One of the many standout features of the Camon LA25 is its wide range of interchangeable tines. Supplied with 10mm solid spikes and 19mm hollow corers as standard, this grass aerator can handle essential aeration tasks straight out of the box.
Additional tine options, including chisel, fracture, and larger solid tines, are available to buy separately. This allows you to tailor your approach depending on the season or soil condition. Whether you’re removing cores to reduce thatch or creating deep channels to improve drainage, this garden lawn aerator adapts with ease.
Switching between tine types takes a matter of minutes, helping you maintain efficiency when working across larger areas.
Durable Tines and Improved Rod Design
The LA25 petrol aerator’s tines are crafted from specialist tool steel and heat-treated to make them stronger. This single-piece construction improves durability and ensures consistent performance under pressure.
Camon has also enhanced the tine rod design, increasing thickness for added strength. This improvement makes the aerator more resilient in challenging ground conditions, giving you confidence when working on heavily compacted lawns.
Adjustable Performance and Simple Operation
Ease of use is central to the LA25 aerator’s design. The controls are straightforward, allowing operators to get to work quickly without unnecessary complexity.
A central lever lowers the tines into the ground, while a further hand lever engages the drive to punch holes into the soil. Ground speed and hole spacing can easily be adjusted, giving you complete control over the finish.
This level of flexibility positions the LA25 amongst the best lawn aerators for both precision work and covering larger spaces efficiently.
A Manoeuvrable Machine with Professional Capability
Despite its powerful performance, the Camon LA25 remains compact and easy to manoeuvre. Measuring 100cm L x 65cm W x 68cm H, it comfortably fits through standard garden gates, making it suitable for both domestic gardens and larger landscaped areas.
The 40cm (16-inch) working width ensures effective coverage, while the 7.5cm (3-inch) aeration depth delivers meaningful results beneath the surface. Foam-filled tyres provide stability and reduce downtime, helping you aerate confidently, even on uneven ground.
Anti-vibration handlebars improve operator comfort, while their quick-folding design allows for easier transport and storage.

Expensive but you can see why when looking at build quality and that many of the lawn renovation guys have them as well. Should have bought it years ago. Likely to last a lifetime, if not longer.
Paul Cheesmond –
Very good machine, expensive but nothing else out there that matches.
Michael Farmer –
Age prevents me from manually doing the hollow tine coring. A costly machine, but had some very good reviews from professional users, so I bought one.
I wish I had bought one some years ago, it would have saved a lot of work, had a much better lawn and would have had some use out of from my remaining years.
The Honda engine readily starts, is smooth and quiet. Getting used to driving the LA25 takes a while, but it seems it does take a bit of running in.
A very well built bit of kit, It does what you need it for, and will do so for many years.
I have it just for domestic use, but it is really for the professional or tool hire people. I would say it’s the bees knees.
