Thanks to hydrostatic transmission; the MTF 98H-SD petrol garden tractor is a delight to drive in, offering the user a smooth drive and easy manoeuvrability similar to the way a car drives! Furthermore, reversing in the MTF 98H-SD is also easy to do.
Side-discharge or mulch; your choice
The MTF 98H-SD mower offers the user an excellent cutting system, with a wide 98 cm, twin blade cutting deck to make sure the grass is cut to perfection. Furthermore, thanks to a side-discharge function; the MTF 98H-SD rider churns the grass clippings out of the side chute. In addition; the option is also there to mulch should the user prefer to mulch the grass clippings, this can be bought separately.
Adjustable cutting heights system
In addition, the MTF 98H-SD offers the user a 7 cutting height positions varying between 25 mm to 80 mm in height for a precise cut based on the grass condition and user preference. Thanks to 2x blades and an electric blade engagement; the user can be ensured of a high quality cutting performance.
Furthermore, the MTF 98H-SD garden tractor is equipped with anti-scalp wheels to prevent damage to the grass if mowing on uneven terrain, whilst the bumper also ensures the driver and the mower is protected from any flying debris that can be unearthed whilst mowing.
Minimal down time to get the job done quicker
With a large fuel tank holding 6 litres of fuel; the user can be ensured there is minimal down time to get the job done quicker.
Drive in comfort
Designed for ultimate comfort whilst mowing; the MTF 98H-SD features an ergonomic steering wheel and a safe Mountfield classic seat that can be easily adjusted for further comfort. The MTF 98H-SD also features a cup holder and a storage compartment for convenience.

Maintaining and storing the MTF 98H-SD is also easy, simply engage the blades whilst cleaning to easily clean the deck and blades effortlessly, and thanks to its compact size; the MTF 98H-SD takes up less room in storage than other ride-on mowers.
