The AP 500 S is STIHL’s most powerful AP System battery. Providing 20 % more battery life to STIHL AP System tools than other STIHL batteries, it is, quite simply, the best in its class. Weighing 2 kg and boasting 337 Wh* of battery power, this robust professional battery is IPX4 rated, which makes it suitable for use in any weather conditions.

Power Laminate Technology

The 36 v, 8.8 Ah STIHL AP 500 S features power laminate technology. This means it has double the service life and number of charging cycles found in a typical STIHL AP system battery with cylindrical cells.

Based on continuous use throughout the working week (so excluding weekends and bank holidays), the STIHL AP 500 S should last up to 10 years without its cells suffering any loss of capacity.

LED Charge Indicator

Thanks to the battery’s integrated LED charge indicator with four lights, you can monitor its power content and clearly see when it needs charging, so you won’t have to worry about experiencing any unexpected loss of power.

The AP 500 S comes with an integrated Bluetooth interface, which allows you to link it to the STIHL Connected System 5 app and manage the battery like a power tool. This means you can monitor its daily usage and real-time charge status through the app.
