What’s included
The STIHL BGA 86 Cordless Blower (Shell Only) comprises of the blower shell only. A battery and charger are not included. You have the freedom to choose the right combination to suit your requirements, or you can use any AP battery and charger you already have in your fleet. However, STIHL recommend the AP 300 S battery for optimum performance.

When prolonged use is required, STIHL’s backpack batteries are recommended to maintain consistently high performance without interruption. In order to use a backpack battery with this machine, you’ll need a backpack battery set, comprising of an AP Adapter, AR L Battery Connecting Cable, and the AR 2000 L or AR 3000 L backpack battery, as well as the AR L Carrying System.

The warranty covers STIHL AP System tools and batteries for a period of two years from the date of purchase when the owner uses it for its designed purpose by professional users. Terms and conditions apply. Garden Machinery Direct will register the warranty with STIHL for you.

This is a great blower, excellent power, although only 10 mins on a 100 battery. BUT, there is a serious fault in that the battery is almost impossible to extract. This is a common issue according to the agent. I found a solution by slightly unscrewing the casing, this gets over the problem.
