Part of STIHL’s high-performance AP System of tools, the 36 v FSA 86 R Cordless Grass Trimmer includes a brushless EC Motor with a maximum power output of 0.5 kW (0.7 hp) and variable speed control. It also features a sturdy aluminium shaft, spacer bracket, and STIHL AutoCut C 6-2 mowing head for exceptionally high-precision trimming and clearing.

Weighing 3.3 kg (without the battery), this premium brushcutter measures 1,720 mm in length, without the cutting attachment. It has a cutting circle diameter of 350 mm. The sound power level is 91 dB(A), with a sound pressure level at the operator’s ear of just 77 dB(A). This makes it an excellent choice of brushcutter for use in residential areas.

STIHL recommends using a STIHL AP 200 S Battery and STIHL AL 301 Quick Battery Charger to optimise this tool’s performance.

The AP 200 Battery gives the FSA 86 R Cordless Brushcutter a running time of up to 35 minutes, which increases to (up to) 60 minutes with the PolyCut 6-2 Mowing Head attachment. This attachment is available to buy as an optional extra.

The AL 301 Quick Battery Charger can charge one of these batteries (from 0 – 100%) in 55 minutes.
