The MSA 200 C-BQ is at the pinnacle of cordless technology, offering exceptional cutting capacity suitable for a range of tasks, with a 14 inch / 35 cm bar length. This saw is supplied as a shell only, so you will need to purchase a battery and charger in order to use it.
A comfortable & simple tool to work with
Low weight (just 3.3 kg excluding the battery) and low vibrations help to make using the MSA 200 C-BQ an easy and comfortable experience. It also benefits from a black, soft handle, which allows you to achieve a secure and firm grip in all working positions. With the Quick Chain Tensioning system included, adjusting the chain is a painless process. Just release the sprocket cover and turn the knob to set the tension without requiring tools. The filler cap can likewise be opened without the need for any tools.
Efficient, cordless technology
STIHL’s electric motor is extremely energy efficient, lightweight and compact. You can expect quiet running, very low vibrations and it doesn’t require servicing. STIHL’s chainsaws also use the Ematic chain lubrication system, which provides maximum lubrication, longer wear and up to 50 percent less oil consumption than conventional lubrication methods. Without petrol fumes, loud operating noise or expensive maintenance, many users have come to love working with modern cordless technology. Cuts through thick 3″ + branches & stems easily as it should.As a first time chainsaw user I had to study the instructions for installing the chain but this is straightforward.

Very useful for smaller jobs like cutting up firewood or lopping branches from trees. I still use my petrol saw for the bigger jobs, but this is a very nice complement with enough power to easily cut branches about 1 foot in diameter.
