Easy to use

The STIHL RM 545 VM features a ReadyStart engine which makes starting the lawn mower easier and provides reliability even in the colder months.  In addition, making the RM 545 VM even easier to use, the user can adjust the cutting heights with ease and efficiency thanks to a spring loaded adjustment system.

Self-propel made easier

The STIHL RM 545 VM is equipped with a height-adjustable handlebar which the user can adjust to suit their body height to provide greater comfort without compromising on the stability or manoeuvrability of the mower.

The RM 545 VM with its Vario Self-Drive; a self-propulsion feature, enables individual adaptation of the speed of the mower to lawn conditions and mowing habits.  The speed of the mower can be changed easily via control lever on the handlebar.

The smooth running wheels with a stability tread and traction pattern ensure the mower has smooth and easy manoeuvrability, making it easier for the user.

Cutting edge

Thanks to a 7-height cutting system ranging from 25 – 80 mm, the user is able to adjust the cutting finish based on their preference, or grass condition or type, giving the user full control over the finished result.

The RM 545 VM is equipped with a multi-blade system with specially designed blades to cut up the mown grass into fine pieces to then be collected in the grass collector bag (if being used).  Alternatively, if using the mulch mowing feature; then the mulched grass will then be dispersed back onto the lawn to be used as a natural lawn fertiliser, this is beneficial for a healthy looking lawn.  A mulching kit can be purchased separately.  

Grass catcher box air-flow technology

The STIHL RM 545 VM lawn mower is equipped with a 60 litre grass catcher box with unique air-flow technology.  The air-flow technology ensure the grass clippings are blown directly into the catcher box.  The level indicator on the catcher box alerts the user when the airflow is too low; meaning the catcher box needs emptying.  When the grass box is empty; the airflow returns and the level indicator resets.  This function increases productivity levels for the user.
