About the STIHL RMA 339 C Cordless Lawn Mower (Promo Kit)

Part of STIHL’s COMPACT Cordless range, the RMA 339 C removes the hassle of wired mowing and the expense, noise and maintenance requirements of petrol equivalents.
A 37 cm cutting width for efficient cutting of compact lawns
The RMA 339 C provides high-quality cutting results from its flow-optimised blades, which trim the grass with less resistance so as to consume minimal battery capacity, letting you mow for longer. You can easily adjust the cutting height centrally to five settings between 30 and 70 mm, while this model can also have a mulching function retrofitted if desired.
Supplied with the machine is a foldable grass catcher box with a 40 litre capacity. This is made of plastic yet features a folding mechanism making it easy to open and empty.

Polymer housing on this model makes it extremely lightweight to work with, yet boasts high resistance and robustness against heat, UV radiation and force. Similarly, the RMA 339 C’s easy running wheels not only allow for increased efficiency, but are also extremely durable and hard wearing.
A foldable handlebar allows you to simply store the machine and transport it if required, backed up by two carrying handles that are also suitable as lashing points. The handle is adjustable to suit your stature.

With no fumes, low levels of noise and vibrations, low operating costs and maintenance, cordless technology makes looking after your garden wonderfully simple. Eco mode allows the lawn motor to adjust itself to suit the power required, resulting in a machine that consumes little energy and can cover large areas before recharging is needed.
The promotional kit includes the shell, 2 AK 20 batteries, and an AL 101 charger. The recommended battery for this lawn mower is the AK 20 battery, which will cut up to 370m2 of lawn with one full charge. The recommended charger is the AL 101 standard charger, which will restore the AK 20 battery to full power in 180 minutes, and has a useful LED indicator, a velcro strap for containing the electrical cable, and it can be wall mounted if desired.

Excellent deal meaning the second battery was almost free. Really pleased with the mower, much lighter than my previous petrol one and effortless to use. Wasn’t sure about needing two batteries but glad I did as when the grass is longer and wet it uses more power. Now I have the batteries I may look to get other a STIHL cordless tools.

A well made mower which cuts my lawn very well. I have been looking to get a lighter mower for sometime to replace my old petrol one. I now think I should have done so sooner as this one is perfect for my needs. Buying the mower as part of a promotional package means I have two batteries which ensures I can cut my grass without running out of power
