A backpack sprayer for landscape gardeners and farmers
STIHL’s first cordless sprayer, the SGA 85, is part of their professional cordless AP System; it is designed for landscape gardeners and farmers for use in gardens, orchards, and viticulture with its high operating pressure and large tank volume. As there are no exhaust fumes with this battery-powered model, it is safe to use in greenhouses and indoors. Battery and charger sold separately.
Excellent spraying performance
A powerful diaphragm pump delivers up to 6 bar pressure, and not having to use a manual pump makes operation more manageable and accurate. The 17 Litre tank – which has a large opening for easy filling – is ideal for herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, and disinfectants, and can deliver 1.7 Litres per minute, when using the standard cone nozzle.
Packed with lots of additional benefits
Additional features include: fluid volume scale on the tank to clearly visualise how much solution is left; an in-built lance holder ensures safe placement of the lance and delivery hose when not in use; the attached carrying system including a chest strap makes it comfortable to wear the sprayer; the battery slot is covered by a protective cover to keep it clear from dust and water.
A battery and charger are required
To operate the sprayer, a compatible AP series battery and charger are required, but are not included. They are sold separately so you can choose the appropriate set-up, however STIHL recommend the AP 100 battery for providing up to 510 minutes working time per full charge.
