The Stihl FS400 strimmers and brushcutters are invaluable for mowing tough grass, scrub or clearing vegetation. The ElastoStart system ensures smooth easy starting, with an elastic element acting as a shock absorber to divert the recoil from starting the engine away from the users muscles and joints. To make starting evem easier these brushcutters are fitted with a semi automatic decompression valve which, once engaged manually, will close automatically. This system reduces pressure in the cylinder, meaning less effort is required to start the engine. A four point anti-vibration system and fully adjustable bike handle ensure maximum operator comfort. The long life filter system with compensator and self cleaning effect considerably extends the intervals between changes for optimum working time. A thumb operated control switch is attached to the handle to allow the user to access all of the engine controls without needing to remove their hand from the handle. The Stihl FS400 strimmers and brushcutters can also be easily stored or transported with a wing nut allowing the handle to be rotated 90º. A carrying harness with soft padding evenly distributes the machines weight to minimise user fatigue and make working, even over long periods, more comfortable. Supplied with a pair of safety goggles to protect the operators eyes from flying particles and harmful UV rays.
