This is my second Hayter Harrier. The first, bought in 2002 was still good and I gave it to a family member where it is giving good service. It’s a proven design and performs well. Reliable and starts easily. I would bu any other make.

Perfect mower. I bought my first Hayter Harrier about 16 years ago and although it’s still going strong I wanted a wider cut as I have quite a big lawn. Also, I have curved beds and undulations to navigate and wanted more speed settings. I am absolutely delighted with the performance of this mower, everything I wanted. I am 73 years old, 5’ 4’’ tall and weight 8 stone 8 lbs and handling the mower is no problem. Just love the ease of cleaning – just click the hose on and job done. Great price too. I swopped a Mountfield for the Hayter for it’s roller, side cutting and variable drive speed. So far I am very happy with the machine, it is very well made compared to my Mountfield, performs well, easy to manoeuvre.
