A long reach pole pruner for when a chainsaw won’t safely reach

The Mitox 28PP is a long-reach pole pruner for tough pruning jobs that are high up. From their select range for homeowners, it has an overall length of 2.1 metres for reaching tall branches safely. The pole pruner is a split shaft system and therefore can also be fitted with other attachments (sold separately) for cost-saving, space-saving versatility.

Quality cutting performance is ensured

The saw is fitted with a proven quality Oregon 254 mm / 10 inch chain ensuring optimal cutting performance; it also has an innovative articulated 7 position design for easy cutting of branches at any angle. The padded front handle enables multiple grip positions for work at various angles and height, whilst reducing vibration and making operation more comfortable.

Easy starting and operation

The recoil assist starter will fire up the powerful Mitox 25.4 cc 2-stroke petrol engine that fuels this pole pruner. The large 0.65 Litre capacity fuel tank allows prolonged periods of use without stopping, and has a translucent finish enabling the operator to quickly establish how much fuel is in the tank.

Important Fuel Guidance for Mitox 2-Stroke Products

Mitox and the manufacturer recommend initially using a mixture of high-quality forecourt fuel (E5) and 2-stroke oil, blended to the correct ratio as specified in the product manual.

For long-term use and to ensure optimal performance, we strongly recommend transitioning to a long-life alkylate fuel, such as Aspen. This helps to maintain engine reliability, reduce harmful emissions, and prevent long-term fuel-related issues.
