The Mower Head

The STIHL FSA 30 Trimmer comes with a PolyCut 3-2 mowing head, which includes two durable polymer blades. When they come to need replacing, it’s a quick and easy job, without the need for tools.

(You can also use an AutoCut 3-2 mowing head, which has a line rather than a blade. This is available to buy as an optional extra.)

If you’re new to the STIHL AS System or need a dedicated power source for your trimmer, you can purchase it with one AS 2 battery and an AL 1 charger, ensuring you have everything needed to get started right away.

For users who require extended run times, the two-battery kit includes the FSA 30, two AS 2 batteries, and an AL 1 charger. With a fully charged AS 2 battery, the trimmer operates for up to 19 minutes when using the PolyCut 3-2 mowing head or up to 10 minutes with the AutoCut 3-2 mowing head. Having two batteries allows you to swap them out when one runs low, ensuring uninterrupted work for longer trimming sessions.
