Outstanding Cutting Performance

The MSA 220 T delivers the highest cutting performance of any STIHL top-handle cordless chainsaw. Its excellent power-to-weight ratio provides strong cutting capability while remaining comfortable to handle. The saw is supplied with a 3/8″ P PS3 saw chain and Light P04 guide bar for fast and efficient cutting.

This combination delivers clean cuts while improving cutting efficiency. Whether removing branches or sectioning timber, the chainsaw performs consistently. The balanced design helps reduce wrist strain and allows greater control during prolonged use. When paired with the recommended AP 300 S battery, the machine achieves excellent balance and handling.

The AP 300 S battery provides working times of up to 29 minutes. Users requiring longer runtimes can use the AP 500 S battery for up to 34 minutes. This flexibility allows the saw to adapt to different working requirements.

The captive sprocket cover nuts remain attached during maintenance procedures. This prevents accidental loss when removing the cover. The tool-free oil cap also allows quick refilling without additional tools.
