HONDA FJ500 SER Tiller

The Honda FJ500 SER tiller is a powerful and compact machine, designed with excellence in mind.

These robust machines are perfect for medium to large sized vegetable plots, allotments and gardens. Powered by a Honda GX160 OHV commercial grade 4-stroke engine, which is very easy to start, and provides excellent torque and fuel efficiency and runs on unleaded fuel. Maximum tilling width is 32 inches.

Features include a single speed manual belt tension transmission with a reverse gear, which uses a constant mesh gearing system.

Supplied with six 4 tooth digging tines and crop protection discs, this provides excellent results. Its robust design and its low centre of gravity for excellent balance, height and angle handlebars are supplied for user comfort. Supplied with rear drag bar and crop protection discs.

Maintain Your Honda Products Properly

To keep your Honda petrol machinery running at its best, use standard pump fuels such as SP95, SP98, or SP95-E10.
While Honda doesn’t supply alkylate fuel, its use is permitted.

It’s important to always add a fuel stabiliser, especially if you’re storing fuel for more than a few weeks, as this helps prevent engine issues and keeps the fuel fresh.

Fuel should be stored in small amounts (no more than 5 litres) in a sealed container, away from heat and sunlight. Use within one month unless treated with a stabiliser.

At the end of the season—or if the machine won’t be used for a while—it’s recommended to drain the fuel tank and follow the storage advice in the user manual.
